This thread goes over basic information about the Endless Online client, and includes updated/recommended client files.
Whether you're a newer or older player, I suggest reading through the topics below, and using the included files and settings.

Server Connection
You can find the SLN (a list of EO Servers hosted by Apollo) and server/connection info here:

To connect to a specific server, you must modify your client settings. (IP and Port)
-You can do this by running the econfig.exe (within your EO Client folder) or by manually modifying the ip and port within the setup.ini.
-You may additionally have to download a custom client for that server, or manually change the clients version number.

Client Settings
Below are the recommended client settings you should be using, and basic info about them.
Connection
IP - Change the server ip/host name that you want to connect to. Ex: game.eoserv.net
Port - Change the server port you want to connect to. Ex: 8078
Graphics
Screen Mode -Toggles full screen/windowed modes. (Recommended: Play game windowed)
Page Flipping - Improves page flipping speed while fullscreen. (Recommended: Enabled)
Show Shadows - Toggles the display of map shadows. (Recommended: Enabled)
Show Balloons - Toggles the display of chat balloons. (Recommended: Enabled)
Sound
Background Music - Toggles client music. (Optional)
Sound Effects - Toggles client sound effects. (Optional)
Language
Default Language - Toggles client language.
Keyboard Language - Toggles Keyboard Language.
Social
Curse Filter - Toggles Display of naughty words. (Recommended: No filter)
Private Messages - Toggles private message notifications. (Optional)
Player Requests - Toggles trade/party notifications. (Optional)
Log Chat - Toggles logging client chat. (Optional)
Log File - Name of the file to log chat to. (Optional)
Advanced
Sizable Client - Allows resizing of the client. (Recommended: Enabled)
Stay On Top - Forces the client on top of other windows. (Recommended: Disabled)
Static Sprites - Prevents freeing memory of sprites. (Recommended: Enabled)
Static Objects - Prevents freeing memory of objects. (Recommended: Enabled)
Static Tiles - Prevents freeing memory of tiles. (Recommended: Enabled)
Block Transfer - Prevent possible graphical issues. (Recommended: Disabled)
Client Controls
This is a basic overview of the client controls.
Ctrl
-These keys are used to attack with your character. (Both LCtrl and RCtrl can be used to attack)
Arrows
-The arrow keys control the players movement. (DOWN, LEFT, UP, RIGHT)
LMouse
-Left click a tile to move your character to a specific spot.
-Left click a tile with an item on it to pick up the item. (Must be within a 2 tile range of the item)
-Left click a character or enemy to cast a queued/equipped 'target' spell on them.
-Left click a different tile to stand up from a chair.
-Left click a door to open it.
-Left click (drag) an item from your inventory, to your paperdoll. (Open paperdoll menu first)
-Double left click a consumable/equippable item from your inventory to use/equip it.
RMouse
-Right click an item in your paper doll menu to unequip it.

F1-F8
-These are the main spell keys. Pressing one of these will queue or use a spell, if assigned to a key.
-You can open the active spell menu, and drag spells to the 1st row to use them as [f1-f8]
Shift + F1-F8
-These are the extra spell keys. Pressing one of these combos will queue or use a spell, if assigned to a key.
-You can open the active spell menu, and drag spells to the 2nd row to use them as [shift + f1-f8]
F10
-Freezes the client and stops most client functionality.
F11
-This key makes your character sit and stand.
F12
-This key refreshes the client. Helps to fix visual issues, and update character position when glitched.
Enter
-This key will send any text you have typed in the main edit field.
Esc
-This key erases all text in an active edit field. (This does not work for every edit field)

Print Scrn
-This key takes a picture of the client window, and saves it to the screenshots folder as a bmp image.
Scroll Lock
-This key also takes a picture of the client window, and saves it to the screenshots folder as a bmp image. Why?
Num0
-This key will display the LAUGH emoticon and animations.
Num1
-This key will display the HAPPY emoticon and animations.
Num2
-This key will display the DEPRESSED emoticon and animations.
Num3
-This key will display the SAD emoticon and animations.
Num4
-This key will display the ANGRY emoticon and animations.
Num5
-This key will display the CONFUSED emoticon and animations.
Num6
-This key will display the SURPRISED emoticon and animations.
Num7
-This key will display the HEARTS emoticon and animations.
Num8
-This key will display the MOON emoticon and animations.
Num9
-This key will display the SUICIDAL emoticon and animations.
Tab
-This key toggles between edit fields. (If there's a menu with more then 1 edit field)
-An example is the account creation screen, and the account login screen.

Client Chat
Below are the prefixes used to talk in specific channels.
Public Messages
-To send a message to people near you, simply type any message without these leading prefixes: ~ ! & '
Private Messages
-To send a private message, start the message with: ! followed by the player name, a space, then your message.
-Example: !PlayerName This is a private message to a specific player.
Global Messages
-To send a message everyone can see, start the message with: ~ followed by your message.
-Example: ~This is a global message everyone can see.
Group Messages
-To send a message to people in your party, start the message with: ' followed by your message.
-Example: 'This is a message only people in your group can see.
Guild Messages
-To send a message to people in your guild, start the message with: & followed by your message.
-Example: &This is a message only guild members can see.
